President Obama Offers Bride-to-be Marriage Advice on his 22nd Wedding Anniversary

celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary yesterday.

The Obamas,who have two daughters, Malia, 16, and Sasha, 13, began dating after meeting in June 1989. They got engaged in 1991 and wedded October 3rd, 1992. Happy wedding anniversary to them.

Meanwhile, while taking questions and congratulatory messages from employees at an Indiana steel plant that yesterday, President Obama said he spoke recently with a new bride, and he warned her that it generally takes about 10 years to train a man properly.
"He'll screw up a bunch," Obama said. "Eventually we learn, but it takes us a little longer, because we're not as smart."
The president added that his wife, the first lady "has been very patient with me."
"Twenty-two years she's been putting up with me!" Obama told the workers.
The Office of First Lady Michelle Obama had tweeted the photo above from the couple's wedding on October 3, 1992, accompanied by the caption: '22 years.
