He barely scores, he barely runs and he's barely got any fans left... so, just how has Liverpool's £16m flop Balotelli lost his way?

Adam Lallana's shot was parried by Alex McCarthy in
Queens Park Rangers's goal and the ball fell invitingly to Mario Balotelli with an open goal in front of him.
The Liverpool striker was left with a simple tap-in, went to side-foot the ball into the net but it instead flew miles over the bar.
That wasn't the first open goal he has missed this season.

That £16million price-tag is increasing in weight with every missed chance. This is a player who in 2010 only rated Lionel Messi above him, then in 2013 was gracious enough to add Cristiano Ronaldo to that list.
'When I score, I don't celebrate because I'm only doing my
job. When a postman delivers letters, does he celebrate?'Balotelli asked in 2012.

Liverpool legend Jimmy Case gave a more brutal. assessment: 'Mario Balotelli is a waste of space at the minute.'

Indian Mizoram Premier League footballer dies from spinal injuries after somersault goal celebration

A footballer has died after a celebration went tragically
wrong in India's Mizoram Premier League.
Peter Biaksangzuala died in hospital on Sunday after falling on his head while attempting a somersault after scoring for Bethlehem Vengthlang FC - a club based in the north east Indian province of Mizoram.
The 23-year-old midfielder scored a 62nd-minute
equaliser against Chanmari West FC in Tuesday's league encounter and celebrated acrobatically - in a manner similar to record World Cup goalscorer Miroslav Klose.

He spent five days in hospital, as doctors unsuccessfully
attempted to heal his injuries, and was pronounced dead in
the early hours of Sunday after being put on a ventilator.
A source said: 'He was trying to do Germany's Klose
signature flip stunt, but it misfired unfortunately.'
Reports in India suggest that Biaksangzuala had donated
his eyes during the time he spent in the hospital.
In memory of the midfielder, Bethlehem Vengthlang FC have
retired his shirt No 21 with the Mizoram Football
Association releasing a statement via their official
Facebook page .
The statement read: 'Bethlehem Vengthlang FC midfielder Peter Biaksangzuala lost his fight for survival after he suffered a fatal injury while celebrating his goal.
'It has been a sad day for Mizoram football and the demise of the footballer shook his team-mates, footballers and fans alike all over Mizoram.
'Peter was a defensive midfielder who had always been aggressive and hard working, a true team player. Like most defensive midfielders, he was excellent at reading the
game, breaking up attacks and protecting his defenders.
'Peter's club Bethlehem Vengthlang FC will retire his jersey no. 21.' Bethlehem Vengthlang coach Danny Lalduhawma added: 'Peter was a lad with good manner who always maintained his discipline on and off the pitch. I don't think there are many like him.'

REVEALED: The Truth About My Affair With Edo State Governor – Dilish Mattews

Dillish Mathews, became famous when she made it to the top and announced the winner of the 2013 edition of Big Brother Africa reality show.
Since then the show has opened doors and brought her
more fame, fortunes and love from high and mighty.
The Namibian sexpot with a curvy shape confirmed the
news making the rounds that she has a soft spot for some
politicians in Nigeria; especially the Edo State governor.
According to her,” Well, yes, I like his works, nothing else.
He is now like a father to me. He had no idea who I was
then when he hosted me and he has also hosted so many
other pageants in Edo State, which was part of what
attracted him to me. Oh, I love Nigeria. I just finished my
first Nollywood movie and hoping to do more jobs here in your country. It has been fun and cool working here in Nollywood. I love the warm reception here.”

I can’t really go to certain places anymore. Don’t forget that stardom has its own challenges too. The important thing is for one to adapt and make appropriate changes in line with your new status,” she asserted.

Ebola: Liberia's President writes moving letter to the world

Dear World
In just over six months, Ebola has managed to bring my
country to a standstill. We have lost over 2,000 Liberians.
Some are children struck down in the prime of their youth.
Some were fathers, mothers, brothers or best friends. Many
were brave health workers that risked their lives to save
others, or simply offer victims comfort in their final
moments.
There is no coincidence Ebola has taken hold in three
fragile states – Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea - all
battling to overcome the effects of interconnected wars. In
Liberia, our civil war ended only eleven years ago. It
destroyed our public infrastructure, crushed our economy
and led to an exodus of educated professionals. A country
that had some 3,000 qualified doctors at the start of the war
was dependent by its end on barely three dozen. In the last
few years, Liberia was bouncing back. We realized there
was a long way to go, but the future was looking bright.
Now Ebola threatens to erase that hard work. Our economy
was set to be larger and stronger this year, offering more
jobs to Liberians and raising living standards. Ebola is not
just a health crisis – across West Africa, a generation of
young people risk being lost to an economic catastrophe as
harvests are missed, markets are shut and borders are
closed.
The virus has been able to spread so rapidly because of the
insufficient strength of the emergency, medical and military
services that remain under-resourced and without the
preparedness to confront such a challenge. This would
have been the case whether the confrontation was with
Ebola, another infectious disease, or a natural disaster.
But one thing is clear. This is a fight in which the whole
world has a stake. This disease respects no borders. The
damage it is causing in West Africa, whether in public
health, the economy or within communities – is already
reverberating throughout the region and across the world.
The international reaction to this crisis was initially
inconsistent and lacking in clear direction or urgency. Now
finally, the world has woken up. The community of nations
has realized they cannot simply pull up the drawbridge and
wish this situation away.
This fight requires a commitment from every nation that has the capacity to help – whether that is with emergency funds, medical supplies or clinical expertise.
I have every faith in our resilience as Liberians, and our capacity as global citizens, to face down this disease, beat it and rebuild. History has shown that when a people are at their darkest hour, humanity has an enviable ability to act with bravery, compassion and selflessness for the benefit of those most in need.
From governments to international organisations, financial institutions to NGOs, politicians to ordinary people on the street in any corner of the world, we all have a stake in the battle against Ebola. It is the duty of all of us, as global citizens, to send a message that we will not leave millions of West Africans to fend for themselves against an enemy that they do not know, and against whom they have little defence.
The time for talking or theorizing is over. Only concerted action will save my country, and our neighbours, from experiencing another national tragedy. The words of Henrik Ibsen have never been truer: “A thousand words leave not the same deep impression as does a single deed. Yours sincerely,
Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

How I managed to stay scandal-free – Chioma Chukwuka

Nollywood actress, Chioma Chukwuka recently opened up to Yes International Magazine on how she manage to remain scandal free even and why many actresses swim in scandals..

On how she’s managed to stay scandal-free

I am a very private person. To the glory of God, it’s not
something I just said okay, this is what I can do. Yes, I
avoid certain gatherings and all that, but you know when you open yourself too much, you open yourself up for a lot of misunderstanding and a lot of things that are not right. But. to the glory of God, I must say
that I’ve been who I am.

On why most actresses swim in scandals?

You know controversy sells and I just feel it’s their own way of projecting themselves. That is the way I look at it, but sometimes people get tired of controversies.

On the biggest mistake that most actors and actresses make?

The only mistake an actor would make is not investing in their future and not realizing that the reason why they are who they are is because the fans have chosen to put them in the limelight. They should always appreciate the fans and not take them for granted because really, if your fans don’t ask for you anymore, you are gone.

Man Beats Pregnant Wife to Death in Enugu#so sad#

The Enugu State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has arrested a man, Mr. Ozoemena Nwankwo, for allegedly beating his pregnant wife, Ndidi Nwankwo, to death.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, the incident occurred around 10pm on October 17 at Nwankwo’s residence in Akpawfu village, Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. Nwankwo, who was described as a chronic wife-beater, beat up Ndidi, who was four months pregnant, until she lost consciousness. The woman sustained a severe injury on her right leg in the course of the beating. It was gathered that the pregnant woman gave up the ghost after she was rushed to a nearby. hospital.
Ndidi’s corpse has been deposited at Agbani General
Hospital, in Nkanu West Local Government Area, while Nwankwo is currently in custody as police operatives conduct investigations into the incident. Amaraizu said Nwankwo has expressed regrets over the development, saying he never thought his pregnant wife would die as a result of the beating.

“It’s not easy Staying Without Sex” – Uti Nwachukwu

Uti Nwachukwu wish he could stay off sex till he finds the right woman to settle down with, but he is afraid, the task is too much for him to carry. While speaking with a vanguard reporter , Uti says he gave his life to Christ in 2006, but admits he is still an imperfect person, despite being born again.
“Of course, I am born again, I found Christ in 2006, I have always believed in Christ. But I must tell you I am not still perfect, he told the reporter.
“Being born again, means accepting Christ as your Lord and personal saviour. He didn’t come to the world for the righteous, Christ came for the imperfect ones like me and you. I genuinely want to change, Christ is right there soliciting and interceding for me, because he is the way, the truth and the life. People fail to see that it is we, the imperfect, that Christ came for. I am extremely imperfect. I am not the stereotypical type of born again, I am the type that is aware of the love and grace” he explained.
When asked what he meant by being imperfect, he said;
“Personally, I would not want to have sex before marriage but sometimes you fall and when you fall, you repent and beg God for forgiveness; it’s not easy.

ISIS Crucifies 17 Year Old Boy after Accusing him of Being Paid to take Pictures of their Headquarters#so sad#

ISIS terrorists have crucified and murdered a 17-year-old
boy after accusing him of being paid to take pictures of their
headquarters in Syria. They also accused him of apostasy –
abandoning his religion.
The boy was crucified in the central square of the
insurgents’ de facto capital Raqqa, Daily Mail reports.
On the placard around his neck, it is written that he has
been crucified for three days for apostasy and for being
caught receiving 500 Turkish Lira for each photograph he
took of ISIS’ headquarters.
Charlie Winter, a counter-terrorism expert, says that
crucifixion is a punishment ISIS uses for specific crimes.
“Crucifixion has been used many times before
– it’s an age-old punishment dealt out to
people who have committed treason.
The Islamic State’s use of crucifixion as a
punishment stems from its fundamentalist
interpretation of Verse 33 of the fifth book of
the Koran.
The verse reads: ‘Indeed, the penalty for
those who wage war against Allah and His
Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause]
corruption is none but that they be killed or
crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off
from opposite sides or that they be exiled
from the land.’
‘That is for them a disgrace in this world; and
for them in the Hereafter is a great
punishment, ” he said.

Outrage at Nigerian Law School as Over 3,500 Students Fail Bar Exam

Thousands of law students are currently in anguish, as the Nigerian Law School recently released the poor results of 2013/2014 August bar examinations.
PM News reports that out of 6,000 candidates who took the exams, only about 2, 172 students passed. Which means about 3,828 students failed. Many of the students are said to have blamed their failure on the Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Olarenwaju Adesola Onadeko, whom they have accused of plotting to destroy their careers by failing them. The students have subsequently demanded for a review of the exam and their results.
Some of the students reportedly communicated with PM News about the matter via text messages. Here are some of the alleged messages sent:
“Save Law School Students: The DG Olarenwaju Onadeko has come to destroy the future of over 70 per cent of students who wrote exams in August and has run to the United Kingdom to seek solace.”
“Please save the future of 5000 law school student, so that the results may be reviewed because some lecturers are in support of this movement as they know the DG asked for a lot of scripts to be marked down. Please this is the least you can do.”
“We the law students of Nigerian Law School protest the poor handling and marking of our Bar 2 final exam. Please we need the media to come to our aid.”
